Music Festivals in May - EDC, The Great Escape, Sasquatch!, and more

Calling all headliners, EDC Las Vegas is only one month away. The Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) is one of the biggest festivals in the world, drawing over 130,000 attendees per day. EDC takes you to another world with massive stages, hundreds of artists, spectacular pyrotechnics and performers.

Since its beginnings, EDC has also been in various locations across the United States and internationally, including Mexico, Puerto Rico, Japan, the UK, Brazil, and India.

In 2018, you can find EDC in Las Vegas, Orlando, Mexico, Japan and China. The annual Las Vegas festival which previously took place in June, will be back at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway May 18th-20th. This year attendees will have the option to camp in air-conditioned tents just a short walk away from the venue.

Get ready to have the time of your life under the electric sky! Remember to pack a these essentials for smooth sailing all weekend:

Reusable water bottle. EDC has plenty of water refill stations, so save your cash and utilize the free water. Try to head to a refill station that has the volunteers filling the bottle for a quicker-moving line.

  • Portable charger. Between all the videos and pictures you are bound to take, you will need a portable charger to keep your phone’s battery charged. Bring a compact and lightweight portable charger that has enough juice to keep your friend’s phones charged too.

  • Handheld folding fan. Even though EDC is dusk until dawn, the asphalt on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway stays hot all night long. Bring a fan to feel the cool breeze in the crowds.
